Sunday, May 17th, 2009

We got a quick, blurry look atLG’s upcoming en V Touch (aka Voyager 2) in April, and now we have the specs for this ho-hum handset:

- dual WVGA touchscreen displays
- full-QWERTY keypad
- stereo speakers
- Bluetooth
- microSDHC support
- 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash and Schneider-Kreuznach lens

Don’t get excited about release dates, because there aren’t any in the stack of user manual images whence these vanilla specs came.

The LG 200C from Tracfone

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Tracfone now offers the LG 200C at only $29.99. The LG 200C is a clamshell mobile phone with basic features such as SMS and caller-id. Probably not the kind of phone most people use this days owing to the fact that it doesn’t have a camera. And unlike Nokia accessories, the LG cell phone accessories for the LG 200C are very hard to find. Users of this phone have reported that they end up buying data cables from another phone brand since they happen to have the same cable ports.

But, to say the least, this clamshell has reaped good reviews for its voice clarity and excellent signal strength. Users of this mobile phone will appreciate the clear conversations they will experience. Though there are still background noises, these are greatly minimized. For $29.99, the LG 200C is a good deal for any potential buyer who just need a phone, nothing more, nothing less.

Panasonic to follow “green” trend of other companies

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Panasonic, a Japanese based electronics manufacturer under the Matsushita Electric parent company, has currently agreed to a 7-year environmental conservation plan with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). This environmental plan concerns the Yellow Sea region of the world, surrounding the coasts of China, Korea, and Japan. As a Japanese manufacturer, this area directly affects the company. Panasonic has also been a corporate supporter of the WWF, as they have a history of responsible and environmentally conscious business practices. The surrounding Yellow Sea has played and continues to play a huge role in the coastal life of eastern Asia. This area holds the world’s most impressive continental shelf and is home to an extremely diverse array of sealife. Because of this, the WWF has stated this region as one to be conserved with high priority. For thousands of years, the people living near this region has so heavily depended on its resources. It is extremely important that this region remains intact and untouched by harmful hands. Hopefully, this region will continue to flourish as a result of this 7-year plan.

CellularOne Customers to get Napster

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

It was recently announced, about a month ago, that all Cellular one subscribers will be able to access the world’s largest music catalog provided by Napster due to the partnership of Ericsson and Napster. This service will run all Cellular One subscribers about $1.99 per song downloaded, but the service is currently limited to about two headsets offered by Cellular One.

Being that Cellular one offers services in about 17 states, this should prove as a beneficial move for the company in either gaining more consumers or keeping the ones they already have. Check AccessoryGeeks.com for all of your Cellular one cell phone accessories.

HTC S621 for Cellular One

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Being able to take charge of your business and personal life at the palm of your hand is power. But you need to have the right gadget to do so. Juggling two or more phones is an obvious hassle. But during the course of time, along with communications technology breakthroughs, we have now what we call the smart phone. However, choosing the right smart phone that perfectly meshes with your lifestyle and can keep up with our varying pace is quite tricky, so to speak. Honestly, there is no 100% guarantee that you will pick up the perfect smart phone for you. There is always something better out there. Always.
But if perfection is not on your list and you prefer ultimate function instead, then I suggest the HTC S621 for Cellular One. Of course, there are smart phones which are way better in every aspect, but the HTC S621 is not far behind. Aside from decent performances on all its features, the HTC S621 also had a sleek design. Cell phone accessories for the HTC S621 are widely distributed so you won’t have any problems getting cell phone cases and cell phone covers, and the likes.
Cellualr One offers the HTC S621 for as low as $279.95. For that price, the HTC S621 can be a good buy or a deal buster. But then, you are not aiming for perfection, are you?

Cell Phone Cars

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Well, if you can’t afford a real Audi or BMW, there’s always the alternative of picking up these cell phone cars. They look like toy models from the top, but turn them over (in the event of an accident, lol) to reveal a touch screen display along with a plethora of other specifications such as a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 and video playback, Bluetooth connectivity as well as 1GB of internal memory. They retail for $160 a pop and I would recommend against you getting one of these for your teen as chances are both of you won’t be on talking terms anymore after that, leaving the phone unused and boxed still.

LG Glimmer

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Alltel just acquired the LG Glimmer as one of their mobile phones for distribution. But the question is can LG Glimmer live up to its name? A lot of people who have toyed with the said mobile phone have expressed dissatisfaction over the LG Glimmer’s poor performance on most of its features.

But what makes the LG Glimmer a likable phone, despite all the bad raves it has been receiving, is its very appealing design. The LG Glimmer has a very unique exterior that separates it from other mobile phones, the horizontal screen. Very novel and very innovative, the LG Glimmer can be a bomber if paired right with LG cell phone accessories.

The New Samsung R200

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

In this age where cell phone is the common norm for mobile communications, you can’t help but wonder whether you need to have a mobile phone that can do a lot of things, Of course, having a mobile phone that can play music is quite a peach but do you actually need a mobile phone that can deliver the 6 o’clock news? Probably not.

So here is to simplicity! The Samsung R200 from Alltel has everything you really need from a mobile phone, nothing that you do not. The Samsung R200 is way different from the other R200 (the old one with the blue backlight). Although nothing beats the classic, the new Samsung R200 is not bad a phone. It is slim, lightweight, and very handy. Voice quality is awesome. The clarity from both ends is remarkable. Signal strength is also something worth noting. The internal cell phone antenna (compared to the external one of the old R200) really has some muscle in it. Cell phone batteries for the new R200 can really go the distance, boasting a talk time of 4 hours.

Wake Up Call

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

We are nearing the end of this year’s first quarter but so far, only little action has been brewed by Alltel. Other competitors are now gearing up to beef up their performance but Alltel appears to be slacking in their sales recently.

It is quite a known fact that Alltel does not boast of a very impressive lineup when it comes to mobile phones and mobile phone accessories. Though they have well known Nokia and Motorola mobile phones and Nokia accessories and Motorola cell phone accessories to boot, Alltel just seem to fall short of firecrackers.
Now that mobile phone manufacturers have unveiled the latest phones and cell phone accessories for 2008, Alltel might as well acquire some of the oven-fresh mobiles and get some boost in sales and popularity. Signal-wise, Alltel is capable of dishing out decent reception in its areas. So a revamp in the phone department would do them really good.

LG AX565 for Alltel

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

LG AX565 is one Alltel’s most high-selling mobile phone as of late. Alltel, USA’s largest wireless network provider seems to be trending towards LG mobile phones and LG cell phone accessories. With the inclusion of LG AX565 in its lineup, Alltel has now four LG mobile phones in distribution.
But what makes LG AX565 as hot as a pancake on a Tuesday morning is its impressive streak as a high-end mobile phone. Both basic and advanced features of the LG AX565 have performed extremely well. Web browser, Bluetooth, MP3 and video player are pretty much the kind of features everyone want their cell phones to have. And the LG AX565 has them all, and then some.
Cell phone accessories such as cell phone cases, cell phone covers, cell phone batteries and cell phone antenna for the LG AX565 are highly available in the market. So that means you have access to this mobile phone accessories when you need them, should you get the LG AX565.
Overall, the LG Ax565 is a great mobile phone with some lapses. However, I still have to find those flaws.
