A new tweet by Verizon itself makes it official: the carrier is getting the Palm Pre “early next year,” which probably translates to Q1 2010.
That means the carrier will have a family of BlackBerrys, the Pre and the Motorola Droid. Sounds like a hardware power play by the nation’s largest carrier.
